The chefs briefing for Who's Cooking Dinner
We’re unbelievably honoured and so excited to be giving our time in support of the most incredible culinary and charity event of the year, ‘Who’s Cooking Dinner’ which takes place at The Dorchester on Monday 10th of October.
On Thursday we joined the incredible teams for their briefing ahead of the event as they had a tour of the kitchens and a chance to finalise details before the big day.
The annual fundraising event (established in 1999) organised by Leukaemia UK in association with Hospitality Action, brings together a mouth watering roster of exciting, Michelin starred and beloved chefs, who each supply and cook a different four course meal for a table of ten.
Neither the guests nor the chefs know who will be cooking dinner for whom, until the night when names are pulled out of a hat and paired-up. The evening culminates in the now famous Grand Auction where chefs put themselves forward to cook in the home of the highest bidder.
Due to the funeral of Queen Elizabeth, the night was postponed from its original date of Monday September 19th - but thanks to Leukemia UKs amazing supporters and team, the event – which raises vital funds – is still going ahead and we’ve been drafted in to help with social media and on the night photography.
We can't wait to get in the kitchen and feel the heat alongside talents such as Chantelle Nicholson of Apricity, Chris and Jeff Galvin, Ivan Tisdal Downes of Native and Patrick Powell of Allegra, to name just a few. Follow the action @whoscookingdinner
